Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any paid plan at any time, with no need to email support. Here's exactly what happens.
How to cancel
- Go to
/account/billing - Click Manage subscription — this opens the Stripe customer portal we use for billing
- Click Cancel plan
- Confirm
That's it. No "are you sure?" pop-ups beyond Stripe's own confirmation, and no retention call.
When your access ends
Cancellation is cancel-at-period-end. You keep all paid features until the last day of the period you've already paid for. After that, your account drops to Free automatically.
For example, if your monthly plan renewed on the 5th and you cancel on the 20th, you keep paid features until the next 5th. We don't shut you off the same day.
This is intentional — you've paid for the period; you should use it.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of any new subscription or upgrade payment.
- Within 14 days: email
support@ostrol.comfrom your account email. We refund in full and downgrade your account. - After 14 days: access continues until period end, but the payment is non-refundable.
Yearly plans also get the 14-day window — that means you have two weeks after the renewal date to change your mind.
What happens to your data
Cancelling does not delete your data. Your solve history, formula sheet, and share links all remain. You just lose the paid features (extra engines, bulk export, API).
If you want to delete your account entirely, go to /account/settings → Delete account. That's a separate, irreversible action — read the warning on that page first.
Coming back later
Re-subscribing is a single click at /account/billing. Your history, formulas, and shares are exactly where you left them.
